The auditorium at the present MHS site is dedicated to the gentleman who served as principal of our high school for 25 years (1935-1960) - the longest tenure of any of the high school's principals. We felt it fitting to dedicate this web site in his name. |
These greetings now accompany all of the main roads into town. The Manchester of 25,000 residents in 1952 now tries to keep its, "City of Village Charm" image in a population that is approaching 52,000. |

Opened in the fall of 1956, the present MHS site may now be short lived. A referendum in November will determine if a new high school campus is to be built in the Wetherell-Keeney Street vicinity for use in 2006. |
The Franklin Building. Continues to function as a Jr. High School. It will be open to the Class of 1952 Saturday afternoon the weekend of the reunion. |
Mary Cheney Library. Still a popular location on Manchester's Main Street, this facility was recently ranked as the fourth busiest library in the State of Connecticut, behind Greenwich, West Hartford and Stamford. |

The Original State Theater. For the past 28 years this site has housed the Full Gospel Church. Their staff has graciously allowed us to step inside during Saturday afternoon of our reunion weekend. |
Manchester Country Club. Site of our Friday and Saturday reunion activities. MCC continues to be a popular location for weddings and celebrations. |
The Athletic Fields at Mount Nebo. Although no longer used by Manchester High School, the baseball, football and soccer fields are used by many local sports and recreation organizations. |

The Starter's Gazebo and Practice Green. The mild Connecticut winter allowed this February look at the course. The Class Golf Game will be held on Friday of our reunion weekend. The Pro Shop is in the background. |
The 18th Hole Overlooking Globe Hollow Reservoir. A long par three finishing hole that continues to challenge most golfers. |
The Colony will host our Sunday Reunion Buffet Breakfast. Five years ago it served as the site of our two-day 45th reunion. |

Established in 1963, Manchester Community College now enrolls more than 9000 full and part-time students on a campus of 160 acres located between Interstate 384 and Wetherell Street in the southwest section of town. |
Ready to begin its third season, the Silkworms play in this new baseball stadium at the north end of town. The team consists of college players who reside with families in town over the summer months while competing with other teams in the New England, New York and New Jersey area. |
Cheney Hall. This historical building on Hartford Road has been refurbished in the past ten years and is home to the Little Theatre of Manchester. Other Cheney Mill buildings have been updated to serve as residential apartments. |
